From Survivor to Thriver!

We refer adult survivors who seek healing to Trauma-Informed counselors who have experience working with sexually exploited victims and to churches with a Survivor Support Ministry. Trained advocates and mentors walk alongside mentees through the healing journey.

Based on clinical research, there are three phases of a healthy healing model. The categories listed in each phase has multiple options within that category. Every survivor is in a different place (physically, emotionally, and spiritually) so an action plan allows her to choose her own healing pathway with many options of programs, classes, counseling, therapy, and other aftercare resources offered by community partners and churches, both faith and non-faith based. For example, "Life Skills/Classes" may include parenting classes, self-defense, domestic violence classes, or other practical opportunities such as cooking, sewing, or art therapy workshops.
